Pentax knows how to attract attention with the introduction of a series of products such as D-SLR, lenses and flash. The focus seems to have deviated from the range of compact camera to other products. Certainly when we look at the attention that goes to the assortment of D-SLR and introductions to Photokina. The Pentax K20 can be the current flagship of the Pentax; with the introduction of the Pentax Pentax Pentax K-m/K2000 once again tries to get a grip on the DSLR market for beginning photographers. The size is not to blame. The K2000-Pentax K-m/Pentax is very compact and easily able to compete with other models and has a good chance for the title: "compact DSLR of the year". Also a pimped version of Pentax K-m/K2000 was presented and could be admired.

Pentax K-m/K2000-Pentax DSLR cameras
The Pentax Km/K2000-Pentax has all the features of the pentax k200 but even more compact housing. The resolution of 10.2 megapixels remained the same as did the image stabilization system. What did change, is the top LCD monitor that was still present on the K200 but disappeared from the K-m/K2000 and its function was taken over by the LCD monitor on the back of the DSLR camera. If we check the back of Pentax k-m /Pentax K2000 we notice immediately that the buttons have been given a different place; they are now positioned on the right side of the monitor. In order to decrease the weight, the Pentax Km/K2000 comes with a new 18-55 mm lens which has even less weight than its predecessor.

The target group of consumers this camera aims, are the so-called ' consumers ', which makes ease of use also play a role, as well as lightweight and compact. The Pentax K2000-Pentax K-m features a ' Help ' button, which offers an immediate explanation to guide a novice user experience at her first DSLR. And when the ' Help ' button becomes superfluous after a while, you can dedicate a new function for this button via the camera menu.
