The new Leica compact camera features clearly laid-out and management intuitive thanks to its simple concept of operations. For simple photo, Leica X 1 offers many automatic functions ranging from precise autofocus auto-exposure. When set, these features provide photographers perfectly exposed images by simply pressing the shutter button, leaving the user focus on the creative aspects of framing and composition.

Thanks to its numerous automatic functions, the compact camera Leica x 1 is always fast and versatile whenever the need arises. Photographers gain further creative freedom with manual control options of the camera. Aperture and shutter speed can be selected manually to influence the final image using knobs easily set on the upper deck of the camera. The plane of focus can be manually set white balance, and various other parameters to capture photos. The bright 2.7-inch display of the Leica X 1 fills almost the entire back of the camera and reveals the finest details, even in a bright environment. The live view function replaces an optical viewfinder and an accurate preview show with all the essential information of the image.
