Leaf is launches the world's fastest digital camera's rear at Photokina 2006, the industry's largest trade fair, in Cologne, Germany. The new Leaf Aptus 54S camera back can provide speed of recovery by 0.8 seconds per frame or frames well 75 per minute-with unlimited depth of outbreak. The camera back in the new S-series uses advanced, hardware-accelerated image processing, which incorporates a lossless compression engine, new image, designed for speed record. Leaf has doubled the speed of reading of the CCD to accelerate shutter speed and doubled the size of the buffer, resulting in unlimited depth outbreak. The new Leaf Aptus 54S will maximize technology's latest Sandisk Extreme IV CompactFlash card for laptops and incorporates the new Firewire 800 communication for maximum speed.

The Leaf Aptus 54S offers levels of sensitivity up to ISO 800. With the Aptus 54S digital back, the entire experience of shooting is smooth and easily controlled and images always display final Leaf s brand quality without compromise. As the world's first and only camera back with built-in LCD touch screen 6 x 7 cm, the Leaf Aptus 54S allows professional photographers to work intuitively, access to any point on the RAW image with a touch for quick evaluation. The large touch screen gives a touch access available in 6 languages, Chinese and Japanese, for a variety of functions and defaults that photographers need when shooting.

The new leaf capture 10.1 now includes live video, a new slider temperature and additional new features. Leaf is rolling out a version 10 for leaf capture software for PC. Leaf digital camera backs and software are on display at the booth of leaf (Hall 5.1, Stand A10-B19) at Photokina, from 26 September to 1 October, in Cologne, Germany. 254-sqm booth offers product demonstrations, hands-on demos and a view of leaf Star photographers at work. The booth will showcase three's demonstration to represent a commercial studio, a fashion shoot and a main attraction of surprise.
