Samsung cameras at Photokina

T' sleeping giant ' is the name of Samsung in the photo. And sleeping doesn't seem too far we discovered, after visiting the booth of Samsung. Concerning floor space, Samsung had sufficient space to showcase many of its new products, and it is rather surprising that Samsung has nothing or almost nothing, to declare as for cameras. All products but a prototype, the Samsung HZ1, were introduced at CES and PMA (January 2008). Samsung seems to omit profiling the company as a manufacturer of innovative camera and serious of the world's largest and most important imaging event, except for some camera models, introduced in July.

Samsung and Pentax cooperation

Although Samsung has made it quite clear during the various events which certainly are willing to participate in the creation of an entry level DSLR, Pentax Hoya is introducing the Pentax K-m and a number of new lenses during the Photokina.
