TNokia N96 comes in an elegant package. A picture of the phone appears on the upper side, and the internal memory of 16 GB is mentioned. After opening the box, you'll find that N96 placed in an image. When you open the picture, you'll find a surprisingly large amount of standard accessories included. The box contains a charger, car charger, battery, headphones, USB cable, manuals, software and a cable to connect the N96 to a TV. This means that you don't have to buy any other accessory except for maybe a bag. The phone itself looks neat too, though a bit on the large side. The Nokia N96 is able to slide in two ways. If you slide open upwards, the standard button is displayed if you slide open downwards, the monitor automatically rotates and multimedia application shortcuts will appear.

Nokia N96 review

Nokia N96 digital camera
The integrated camera in the Nokia N96, equipped with a Carl Zeiss lens and offers a resolution of 5 megapixels. Images made with the Nokia N96 are excellent compared to other 5.0 Megapixel cameraphones. The colors are reproduced perfectly and the contrast is fine. One thing is very clear that digital noise pops up if a too high ISO is used in combination with a large amount of pixels on the sensor, unlike normal digital cameras.

Nokia N96 multimedia Computer
The main disadvantage that we meet on most mobile phones is the delay of the camera. Is sort of a problem for both boot the camera as well as capture a subject. This is also the case for the Nokia N96. When I start the monitor remains black for a few seconds, a nuisance if you want to capture a moment. And if you try to capture the next subject, should not move for a while or the picture will be obscured. Pressing and capture takes about two seconds. This exposure/shutter lag is an annoying feature that does not facilitate the shot with a mobile phone. It is a common problem. In addition, the shutter release is half of what it should be. It is sometimes difficult to depress completely, so only exhibit and actually take a picture. It happened to me often, and certainly doesn't add to the joy of photographing.

When the camera application is completely started, the entire big acts as the crosshairs monitor, which makes it ever so easy to see how it will reveal the real picture. The monitor shows shortcuts to the settings such as contrast, sharpness and flash settings. In scene mode, you have the choice to foreground mode for example; However, the default is automatic, while for each situation will be evaluated in the best possible setting. When you have changed the scene modes, and then restart the camera application, it will be automatically set to standard, refusing to stay in the wrong way.
